According to my Maps,Wivenhoe and East Donyland are a stone throw from each other. So i would say it would be under Lexden. Il'e have a look at the 1861 and get back to you. Cheers. Tony |

HI Tony, the mother was born in wivenhoe, would that be under Lexden? All the kids were born in East Donnyland but not til after about 1863. If so, I am looking for Sarah Ann Jacobs. According to the census , she was 51 in 1871, & 40 in 1881. Fountain of youth is alive in East Donyland !! The family disappear after that. She married Neal/Neill Walford, not sure if before or after 1861. Don't think this helps..but in 1881 they lived at Olive Place Chapel Street. thanks Karen |

I'm just wondering what town to try searching for my ancestors on Free BMD. The 1871 census says they were all born in Donyland but I can't find any of them. thanks |
