You may have tried this but just in case. Put in Mcgee in Free BMD and marriage and put his wife's christian name also. then the years and hopefully it will give you a clue. I have tried for you but BMD is not letting me do Good luck

Wher is the marriage? - Some of the Local offices have their own searchable BMD sites - and you can match surnames even before 1911 - and they give the place as well (as in, which Church or Register Office). There's a list of links on UKBMD.org.uk Christine

hi paul i have looked on 1837 with no luck.the name is thomas/patrick (has used both) mc gee hes on 1881 census(mistranscribed as mcfee} with wife ellen dau mary 4.so im guessing the marriage was 1874-1876

is there any where else i can look for a marriage have tried bmd and ancestry with no luck.any help would be appreciated.the problem being i only have the wifes first name
