1871 census, is it complete?

hi both thanks for that, i,ll leave gt grandma in peace for a while then, only curious to know where she was at the time, found her on all the others marcie x

Hiya Marcie,not its not complete,and according to ancestry "No county is considered complete until our final posting of the 1871 census, planned for the beginning of next year. Most counties below are considered 98% complete." Then it gives a list of all the counties already posted. There are some really bad mistranscriptions too,which doesnt help Anna :-)

hi please can anyone tell me if the 1871 census is complete on ancestry, i keep trying to find gt grandma,also with lots of help from others too, but no luck yet marcie x
