Liverpool Anglican Cathedral - Construction workfo

I think my grandfather (Harry Stephenson) might have been part of the workforce to build this great Cathedral, which was consecrated on 19/07 1924. In 1920 when he married he was living in Walton and described as a storekeeper. When his mother died in 1923 he was the informant and was still living in Liverpool. (He grew up and later returned to Tamworth in Staffordshire.) How do I find this out? Any ideas? By the way it was an elderly cousin of my father who mentioned it in passing recently! |
