Oh dear. I feel for you, what a name to try and trace Jones!! don`t we just love our ancestors?!! Sorry there is no way you can see details for a birth cert unless you purchase it. If you cannot find the twins on any census, perhaps they or one of them died? have you tried looking on the 1837 on line, a t least you could find out for sure if a death has taken place Also, you may be lucky enough to contact another connection who could supply some missing info, just keep trying, its amazing sometimes, when we have given up hope, then Bingo! along comes an answer perhaps through something else entirely, I`ve had this happen a few times, just keep plugging away and keep your fingers crossed, try looking for another person that may lead to an answer.

hi - i am still relatively new to all of this- i - like others on here no doubt typed in a family members name only to find out someone else had it in their tree. Since then i was hooked - i have had a lot of results and been able to trace back with the help of others on this site. because it was done as a "team" effort i knew what to look for and where. now i am trying to trace another line on my own its proving to be a bit more difficult. the fact that it is jones in wales doesnt help either!!! I am having particular problems with a set of twins my great grandfather - i know he had several children (all after 1901) and got married (again after 1901) and died in a mining accident in c1924 where exactly should i start with this? someone else has had a look for me & unfortunately they cannot find the twins living together in the area they lived in although they can find james (my ggrandad??) as being adopted by another family sorry to ramble on but i dont know what to do next - i have copies of the 1891 census which we think may be the family would it be possible to view the birth certificate without actually buying it ?? if so - where would i view it many thanks for your help sam
