My husband, brother and most of the boys I knew all went to Upton House school, I had no idea that it used to be a truant school. The old buildings were replaced in the late 60's. I'm going to have to look into the history of the place. Sorry, no help to you, but fascinating! Sue

Can anyone help with information on the Upton House Truant School, Urswick Road, Homerton, NE London where my relative George Howick was an inmate at the age of 12. Wondered if they would have records of this school and what happened to the boys. Found George on the 1901 census at this school thanks katrina
