Hi, i am looking for my grandmother, she gave birth to my dad 22 feb 1956 at 64 Dock street monkwearmouth Sunderland. I need to look on an electoral register for this to see who else lived at the address. My dad was adopted out and i would like to look on an electoral register to see who lived at the address at the time. I know his birth mothers name but want to verify a few things. Does anyone know how i do this? Thanks. |

I'm not very experienced, but I think some of the large libraries hold past electoral rolls, as do some of the LDS centres (which is where I got info from a 1963 electoral roll). However, I wanted similar information from a different county and I've had to pay £11 for their 'minimum 1/2 hour research'! So I asked them to look up two addresses and a couple of years either side to get my money's worth! Hope this might help a bit. Mandy :) |
