I believe they were destroyed before the 1841 and also they were just a head count, not an index. You could try the local records office if you know who/when/where you are looking for for bmd. |

They were mostly head counts but there are indexes to some areas - M&LFHS have indexes to Bolton 1811, 1821 & 1831 Censuses. MB |
