Theres a television seris called What the Victorians Did For Us presented by Adam Hart Davies made by the BBC. there are lots of inventions in the seris. try going to the BBc website on www.bbc(.)co(.)uk

You could try putting "victorian inventions" into the search-function on the BBC website? It turns up quite a lot, but I'm not sure how useful it will be to her - worth a try, I'd say! ...Google?? Christine

Hi my daughter has been asked to find information on Victorian inventions for her home work and i wondered if there were any good web sites i could find that she would understand?? (she is only 8) a lot of the places i have looked are quite hard going and involve alot of hunting around. cheers corrina (stressed out mother)
