My Uncle left UK in 1950's to live in South Africa. He moved to Australia and then back to South Africa. Has avnybody got any tips as to how I might trace him?

Hi I recommend putting "south africa" into the thread-search here. There are a number of useful threads. Google is a good standby, and you can always try guessing a site-name: South Africa's suffix is .za I believe. Christine

Have a look in Cyndi's List. Best starting place for any non-UK genealogical links. http://www.cyndislist.com I think that is correct if not do a websearch. Martin

If he's still alive and you know his name (and it's not too common) you could try the phonebook there. If you google on South Africa White Pages the first hit will get you there.
