How to I find other members who have ancestors who worked the canals. Mine were Smiths, from Staffordhire and seem to have links with Cheshire as well, ?? salt mines. Can you imagine anything more frustrating?? Any tips?

On the rootsweb site there is a specific board for canal people. GR wont let me type the address on here!! So google GENUKI England for it!
