The john Dawkins I have found is a builder according to the 1901 census he has 6 six children one of which is Ernest Dawkins who is my great Grandfather I was just wondering if there is web sites to find out info on pre 1850 records thanks matt |

Hi Have you followed up the resources suggested on (the invisible bottom half of) your homepage? If you say what you've tried, you won't get lots of folks trying to replicate what you've done in an effort to help - and, if someone spots a gap, they may come up with something (as Wizz seems to have done). good hunting! Hi Mathew,just done a quick search for you and come up with a couple of things that might intrest you.First John Dawkins was born in June 1847 and not 1849 as you thought.In 1871 he was working as a servant for the Penfold Family in Patrixbourne Kent.Hope this is of some help. WIZZ |

I have found my family upto 1849 but cant find anyone else , I am looking for the Parents of John Dawkins who was born in kent , wingham 1849 Any help would would be excellent |
