Why when logging onto the "free "sites do I get no info and get transferred to a paying site eg Ancestry.com?

When you go to FreeBMD do NOT click on the thing at the top of the page as it is (as you have found) an Ancestry advert. You must scroll down the page. Or you can go directly to the search page here: http://freebmd.rootsweb.*com/cgi/search.pl (remove *) This page also has an ADVERT at the top, so don't click on it!
