It's be mentioned somewhere else on the boards, if you just Google "Ancestry Plus" you can get in with no password..... for free. Kim |

A lot of people have tried that, the problem is, even though you can get in, it dosen't let you view the results of your search. It's ok doing that if you already have put in the password. But if not you can't view the results. Nicola |

You need to log onto Way Public Library Home page. Then log on Local History on the Left then note worthy Links and you will see at the bottom of the list Ancestry Plus, click on and happy viewing. |

If you have Norton Firewall it can block the password page up, try switching it off and switching it back on again when you get in . I have no subscription to Ancestry and get in with no password or user id at all and none of the site is padlocked Kim |

Excuse me for being dim - it is Friday but what is Ancestry Plus and hows it different to Ancestry ?? I have a subscription to Ancestry so would Ancestry Plus have any different info ?? Clare.xx |

as far as i can gather ancestry is where you pay for it ancestry plus is where libraries etc pay for users to use |

I think ancestry plus is really for libraries and universities and is designed for researchers. I think access is only supposed to be in Libraries but I think it may have slightly more stuff on it but essentially the same. Kim |

Go to General topics - where it says You can search for specific words found in the title of threads eg "1901 Census" type 'Full list of Ancestry Plus passwords' in the box and search its been enter by Gemma in Wakefield. Cheers |
