I have taken it to mean they actually live on the farm where they work, but i might be wrong!! Anne

Could Anybody tell me the difference between "Agricultural labourer (Indoor.) and Domestic Servant, on the 1881 there are Ag. Labs (Indoor) and Domestic Servants in the same household. Only Men seem to be employed as Ag. Lab. (Indoor), so is it indoor the house, or indoor the barns,
