tree viewing permission

can anyone direct me to the "box" where I tick (for permission) or untick to "disallow" viewing of my tree when I send or receive messages (do it make sense ???)

Click Your Contacts in the left panel. What you want should be listed there.

If you contact someone via the envelope alongside a name found in name search below your message is a box giving the recipient access to your tree. It is pre ticked, if you dont want them to have access click it to remove the tick. I don't think the box appears with other sorts of contact or when you are replying to a message.

If you go to your contacts, check beside each name and if it says remove, then you have given access for that person to view your tree. If it says Allow then they can't see your tree. I hope that makes sense. Nicola
