Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 877 Send Message	Censuses first started in 1801 the first 3 were not saved and very few survive. The first offical ones to be saved was 1841, this does not give much information but it was more than the 1st 3. 1851 you will find the format very similar to the later ones. Irene
