Can you tell me where I can search for the will of someone who died in Scotland in 1943 and if I can apply for a copy of the will by post. I know when and where they died but do I need any other information. Susan

Hi Susan, Scottish wills are held by the National Archives of Scotland. Hopefully their website will give you details of how to order a recent will. http://www.nas.gov(.)uk/ Cazza

Hi Also try the Scottish Documents website. Its the first one that comes up if you Google 'Scottish Documents'. It allows you to search on-line for wills. Lynne
