Shirley, Your grandad - was his army service during wartime? If so, which war? If WW1, then you can at least search out his medal entitlement on-line at the National Archive website. If WW2, then his army service records are still held by the MOD and releasable to next of kin - cost Pnds 25 and appx one year's wait. Ian |
