Been doing my family tree for a while now,but cant seem to get any further than my G/G grandfather,who was born in Louth Union Workhouse,there was an Elizabeth in there at the same time aged 27,was this his mother ???.Was her maiden name Archer ???.Apart from doing a 350 mile round trip to Lincoln archives,what can l do.GIVE UP.Am l chasing a lost cause ??. |

what is the name? i can do a search on ancestory for you, and might be able to locate information on a birth cerificate for you to order, then this will give you the mothers name. amanda |

Hi, As he was born after 1837 his birth reference should be on freebmd or 1837online. His birth cert will give you his mother's name. Gwynne |
