Information from Marriage cert I received today. The Marriage of Henry Harrison & Maria Blackwell. Can anyone help me with whereabouts of the addresses below.. The Marriage was in 1883 at st philip, lambeth and two other addresses from certificate are 7 Heathfield place & 4 York St. Thanks

Just found this website that may be of help http://members(.)aol(.)com/WHall95037/londonh(.)html Remove the brackets Heathfield Place, Lambeth A-Z Ref 2K 77 - Now Gone - Was between Upper Marsh St and Lambeth Palace Rd. A lot of York Street, maybe you know which one if any York Street, Holborn A-Z Ref 7J 61 - Eastern section remains and it is now called Tavistock Street. York Street, Southwark A-Z 2J 147 - Now Gone - Was on E/S of Blackfriars Road where SCBYS is now shown. York Street, Victoria A-Z Ref 6M 145 - Now called Petty France. York Street, Walworth A-Z Ref 9M 147 - Now called Browning Street. Note that in 1872 there were 2 York Street in Walworth that underwent name changes. York Street, Walworth A-Z Ref 9B 148 - Now Called Barlow Street - York Street and John Street CTB Barlow St. Note that in 1872 there were two York Streets in Walworth that underwent name changes. York Street, Waterloo A-Z Ref 3F 146 - Now Gone - Went when Waterloo Station was enlarged.

Darren If you can find the bride and groom on the 1881 census at www.familysearch.org and they are at those addresses, you can work out roughly where they were by looking at the addresses of the previous and next households until you reach another road. nell
