Thanks for the info. See what you mean about Genealogy resources - I don't think I've ever looked there - there is so much on this site and I find I don't have as much time as I'd like to look at the different sections.

Those for Ireland only survive for 1901 and 1911 and are at the National Archives, Dublin, with copies at the Public Records Office of Northern Ireland. THIS INFO IS ON THE HOMEPAGE UNDER GENEALOGY RESOURCES, BUT AS YOU HAVE TO SCROLL DOWN TO FIND IT NOBODY KNOWS IT IS THERE. I AM GOING TO KEEP ON MOANING ABOUT THIS UNTIL GR MAKES IT EASIER FOR PEOPLE TO FIND. I CAN'T SEE THE POINT OF PROVIDING INFORMATION IF NOBODY KNOWS HOW TO GET IT. gggrrr! rant over. nell

I don't think there is. I think it was burnt along with a large number of other records in the fire at the Dublin record office in 1922

Have had no joy looking on the English or Scottish 1891 censuses. Is there an Irish one?
