Thanks Pat, what an insight this site gives, I was struck by all the poor Shropshire families and the high number of single pregnant girls, not the good old days at all, regards Jill

If you have any missing Shropshire rellies on the Segley Manor site there is a list of all who entered (poor folk) Sedgley in the early 1800's worth a look if you are looking for someone. Also it gives an idea of living conditions and some surnames. Quite an interesting site Pat
