Karen I do the same as Jim enter any sources and interesting info in Notes ie my Grandfather used to do Bell shooting with his brothers (for charity) and I entered this in his notes and put the name of the website where his photo and info about Bell Target shooting can be found. I feel I need to leave all these little snippets somewhere about my ancestors. Pat

I usually use the "Notes" facility to enter such things. If you click on "Edit" "Notes" you can list all the details you have found about an individual including your sources. Jim

Hiya I would like to add sources to my PAF family tree - eg where I have someones birth date to state that the source of this info was from the Birth Certificate. I have entered the sources on some of my tree, but when it lists the sources it gives a different number for each person eg on everyones birth it gives a different number even though the source is the same - birth certificate. Is there anyway of giving it the same source number? Hope this makes sense. Thanks Karen
