Hi John, No I wouldn't do that. I'm on the 'record board' now. When I get use to that one, will add some more like, Prestwich,Blackley, Harpurhey, Pendleton, Pendelbury, Salford Regent Rd; Salford Greengate. All 1851. I could not paste and copy, if I had to write EVERYTHING down it would take me all week to get back with the answer, if there was one. Denise, Manchester

Hi Tony in OZ, If you need any help with Lancashire, just shout. I took the plunge after I got Acrobat Reader sorted out. On the 'record board' for HULME M/C 1851 unfilmed census, the names are not on any other disc, the disc were made by M&LFHS. Good luck to you too. Denise, Manchester.

Denise Like Tony I say go for it, people are not asking if you can solve their problems, just can you find anything. I always find if I say this looks possible or? Then you leave it up to them. You never know like Tony said you just might break that 20 year old wall. Good luck and have fun I know I do when I can find the time which is not much at the moment. Irene

Hi Heather, I didn't realize it was the Acrobat Reader until I wandered why other members could copy and paste, but not me. Looked in the Reader help file on Reader 5, but still wouldn't copy. So updated to 6, now it works fine. Denise .

Thanks Linda, My computer skills worry me, not very fast. Had trouble with copy and paste until I realized it could be the Acrobat Reader 5. Now up-dated to 6.0, and learnt how to copy a block. But its going to be slow at first. Just finish some housework, then will make the post. Denise

Hi Denise Don't be scared. I do look ups, at first I found it a bit daunting, but now I can read the 1851 census better than some of the later ones. Just make sure you ask for people to put all the info they have, like full name, ages, where born and area or address. The more info you have the better chance you have of finding the family. You'll be fine. Lynda
