which online service would you recommend?

Hi there is a free BMD - Freebmd site - not everything has been transcribed yet though. Ancestry contains bmd aswell as census and other info like family trees registered with them and boards. Its about £70 for a year.

hi patricia,for births deaths and marriages i would go for www.1837online.co.uk you do not pay an annual fee..its pay to view..i have found it very useful..sandra..ancestry.co.uk is very good for census records that is an annual fee sandra

I would like to subscribe to an online service but not sure which one will provide best info. What would you recommend and why. Can i find out about dates ie births, marriages and deaths. Thanks Tricia
