thanks but Joseph was definitly from the liverpool area (salford & aston are manchester i believe)

The IGI is not updated. 1911/1912 is too recent to be on there. They start to dwindle out in the 1870s. Your best bet is the 1837online GRO index, which you can pay for online or view for free at your local records office. Or you might be lucky on freebmd.

Hi Louise, www.familysearch.org/ Is this the one you want, don't take it as gospel though just use it as a guide line............

Researching:
Ringrose from Countesthorpe Lord and Burley from Countesthorpe...Dixon Dawson Wood and Wilkinson from Caistor ,Starkey and Wood from Edendam. Hare from Horncastle.
