hi i have found my gt grandfather (john bunch)on the 1871 census aged 18, living in farnborough, and when it gets down to institution e.t.c it says fusilliers 10 depot 104, when i click on who else lived there, there are a range of people i.e. husbands, wives, children and lots of men, could this be an army barracks? any advise appreciated, also if this is so, would his army records be at kew? marcie x |

Hi, Yes, it sounds like an army barracks. Kew would be a good place to start try their online catalogue. Gwynne |
