Lisa, Lilian was listed as being born in Wimbledon. That comes under the Kingston district. Crista |

Lily could also be short for Letitia or Elizabeth. |

Lisa Have you tried Angus for Gussie. Also Lily could be spelt Lilly or could be short for Lillian. Jeanette x |

Hi Lisa, In 1901 Ellen is listed as being born in Brixton and Lilian in Wimbledon. There's also a Percy S(amuel?) Fowler lodging in Teddington who was born in Clapham. He could be her son. Have you tried Augustus and Gustav instead of Gussie? Crista |

I've been trying for over a year now to find a certain lady, Ellen Fowler nee Tucker married George Littleboy in 1884, the marriage cert says she was a widow and her father is given as Thomas Tucker, Ellens age is given as 34, Georges as 21. In the 1891 Census George gives his age as 33 and Ellen 36 she born in bristol. They're on the 1901 Census with different ages again and Ellen being refered to as Helen though this may have been misheard? I've tried searching for her bith and death certs to no avail, I've also tried searching for the birth certs of the children from her first marriage, Gussie Percy and lilly but nothing. Does anyone have any ideas? Please please help I am going insane!! Thankyou |
