Was Montgomeryshire, now is Powys, so try http://archives.powys.gov.uk/ failing that, there's always the National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth. nell |

Has anyone any idea how I go about finding who holds historic records for Lake Vyrwny, near Oswestry. The counties is this area were renamed and new boundaries drawn up in 1974, and I have no idea how or where to start looking. Any information/ideas would be greatly appreciated. |
