Hi Louise I would read that as "Watchmaker's wife" as if she was a Watchmaker also it would just have the "do" after it. Regards Sharon |

if i've got someone in a census as a watchmaker & underneath it says "do Wife" does that means - she also was a watchmaker - or simply she was his just wife |
