Can anyone provide tips on tracing details of women who were members of the Suffragist/Suffragette movement? I have recently made contact with descendants of my gt-grandmother who say that in her youth she was involved in the votes for women campaign. Sadly none of her personal effects have survived, so I have no hard facts on which to launch my research.
