Hi Daniel, When you order the records from the MOD you do have to pay £25 and prove you are next of kin. I've ordered my grandfathers records and my mum signed all the paperwork as she is next of kin. Be warned though, they take a while to arrive. I ordered mine in February and they have told me that I should receive them in the next few weeks. Sam |

The MOD will charge you £25 and I think you have to prove you are a relative of the person whose info you want. Try these links: www.army.mod.uk/contacts/divisions/records.htm www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/militaryhistory/ www.bbc.co.uk/dna/ww2/FindPeople [2nd World War] www.1914-1918.net/ [1st World War] nell |

Has anybody got any tips looking at these either at Kew or asking the MOD for information. |
