on the 1881 census i have a C. Tyrer aged 12 the 1891 census i have an Annie Rimmer (Nee Tyrer) aged 22 on each census they're living with Edward & Mary A Tyrer - listed as daughter would this be the same person or twins as neither is metion on the other census |

Hi Louise Try to find the family in 1871, when the girl(s) is/are 2. Look for a birth in or about 1869. If there are twins, they should have the same or consecutive page number references. I was bedevilled by a twin who died, a subsequent daughter given the dead child's name, but not being registered, and the two girls never appearing on a census in the same household. I began to think I was going mad! Happy hunting Brenda |
