I am trying to trace any family members of Hilda Shingleton nee Humble, who is my birth Mother, My Mother and Father[Ben] SHINGLETON divorced in about 1943, I have got about 5 half Sisters and Brothers out there somewhere, My maternal grandparents were Annie and Jack Archer and they lived in St Vincents Road Dartford Kent. My name is Doreen i was born in Dartford in 1940. If there is anyone out there that can help me i would be so grateful Thank you From Doreen Diggins [nee] Shingleton |

Don't know whether I'm not reading your messge properly, but surely if your birth mother is called Hilda Shingleton, nee Humble, then your maternal grandparents would also be called Humble and not Archer. Kath. x |
