Online Orphanages?

Is there any way I can try to find the orphanage my grandad and his brother were placed in, preferrably online? I have very little information except that it was probably soon after 1910, and that although they were from the East End, they had family in Bath, and I've heard it said that they were placed in one there.

Hi, There may be admissions books in the county record office. Nothing online as far as I know. Gwynne

Best plan of action is to contact the Social Work Dept in the area you think they may have been. They will then ask you to write in with your request and if they have the information they will release it to you
