Does anybody know how I can find out whether my maternal grandfather is still alive. He was born in Cambridge in 1913 and his name is Ronald Hacker Stanton and he had a brother called Neville i believe. I have been to my library and searched through death records but this only goes up to 1992 at this point he is obviously still alive. Other than visiting the family records office in London is there any other way I can find anything out? Would appreciate anybody advice. |

There's a death index on Ancestry that someone might be able to look on for you. It goes up until 2002. |

Yes I think you have found him, as I know that he moved to that area but I didn't know when. How can I now find any information on his family - what site are you looking at. I really do appreciate you finding this - if you can help any more I would be so grateful. |

Hi Pat, I still think this is him, like you said they have no doubt got the birth date wrong. Re my last message can you find anything further out help!! (I need it) Also did you mean the quarter of 1989 or March 89. (New to this as you can tell!!") Thanks again Julie. |
