Can anyone help? Were there census reports in 1921? I am trying to find out about Ronald Stanton born 1913 in cambridge. I am new to this and do not know how to look up recent census records. if anyone can help i would be most grateful for some advice.... Thanks Julie

A census return only becomes available to the public after 100 years, so the latest we have access to is the 1901. I'm afraid we all have to wait another 15 plus years for the 1921 census, unless the gov. change the rules in the meantime. Cazza

Thank you for your help. Do you know how I can find out about my maternal grand father who was born in Cambridge in 1913 and I believe he may have died now. His name is Ronald Hacker Stanton and he was married to my grandmother until roughly 1938/40?? I just do not know where to start....

Thanks Sue. This is definitely him. From your information i have found out that he married my nan in 1937 and then re-married to Peggy Borrer in 1948. He died in March 1989 in Great Yarmouth. I believe that he had two children from his second married, one in 1950 and one in 1959 both born in Cambridge. Is there any chance that you can look up and find out if this is true and email me the details when you next go to the Cambridge Records Office. I would be most grateful to you if this is possible as this will then help me find my family that i never knew i had..... Thanks again for all your help and i'll look forward to hearing from you.
