I've tried to send someone a Census file but outlook has deleted the attachment at her end, saying it was unsafe. Has anyone any tips on how we can get round this problem? I have sent the same file to several other people with no problem.

Depends on the anti virus software the person is using. Some delete all attachments, safe or unsafe depending on the settings.

Helen, you say census file. Is this one of Gordons EXE files? If so, it will be seen as a programme and disposed of. If this is the case, you will need to extract the images as jpgs from the programme. I think this is on the file tab, then export.

Thanks for your replies, we will have a go with your suggestions. I don't think it's the antivirus, as outlook itself is deleting the files. They are just Acrobat files, not exe as far as I am aware.

Selena has contacted me to say she has received the first of the files so I can now send the others. Thanks everyone for your advice.
