There is an Anton and Sarah Koller born Switzerland on the 1871 census in St. George, London. He was an Artist. Have saved the image if you think this might be someone from your family. Kath. x p.s. There are also some Kohlers born Germany, living in London.

Does any one know how I would go about locating an ancestor from Austria. I have only managed to find reference to him on my great grandmother's birth certificate dated 1865. I have checked deaths marriages and births in uk but haven't been able to locate him. To confuse the matter further he according to family oral history changed the spelling of his name to Koller from Kohler, again family history relates to him being an officer in Garibaldi's army. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
