Thanks for the software suggestions! My friend has an A2 printer (Epson), but if my tree is too big, I could get it printed in A1 or giant size A0 at my local Printers. Hopefully, those softwares can export the tree as a PSD, TIF or Bitmap file?

Giles, I have Family Tree Maker Version 9, and that can view and print out the whole tree, that was why I bought it. But mine will take 94 A4 pages to print, couldn't even spread them all out on the whole ground floor of my house!! Great for 'saving' but wasn't a good idea for printing! Giles, can I ask please, where would you get a print out on A1 or A2 size paper, or are you contemplating sending it to one of those professionals to print for you? if so, those companies will accept you exporting your gedcom file to them. Giles. I use 'Kith & Kin Pro' and can get the whole of my tree on screen. My 'Tree' covers all my family back to 1600 Paternal and Maternal, all my wifes family for three generations, and all my cousins spouses. Regards Brian

Heather, Which software did you use to display the whole family tree on one screen before you printed it?

Hi, I spent ages piecing a tree together recently - 6 A4 size pages. Then my son said, why dont you put it on cd and take it to the main library, they have big printers there. DOH! Check out to see if your library has a printer big enough. Otherwise, have you any mates working in planning departments or architects offices???

1) What is the best software for displaying your whole family tree (including all relatives) on one screen (scrollable) and print it out as a poster, ie. A1 - A2 size? Any help would be much appreciated!
