Is there any way of tracing if someone changed their name by deed poll? I have a couple of missing gt uncles, who I believe did this, and I don't know how to find out what they changed to. Cannot find any record of deaths etc. Sarah |

Sarah Read this info on The National Archives website: www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/familyhistory/name/ and bear in mind that you don't have to change your name by deed poll. You can just change your name to whatever you like, as long as you tell everyone! Nell |
