As you're looking in America, I suggest you say so in your thread title, and then someone in America (like the helpful Crista for example) might spot it and have some suggestions. Nell

Does anyone know of any sites that would deal with trying to trace missing relative from about 1960? Known to have gone to USA, National City, San Diego specifically. Known assocatiates were American naval personnel. Person concerned was born in USA in 1931, but when I have tried to trace birth records, apparently you can only obtain birth details/certificates if that person is dead, but it is not known that the person I am searching for is dead. ANY HELP PLEASE WOULD BE GRATEFULLY APPRECIATED
