Consecutive Census pages

Yes, that's useful to know. I had a census entry which I found and assumed was correct - it had my great-grandparents on it. All their children were grown up and I thought they had left home. When I looked for their eldest daughter I found she and her husband and their children were all living with the gt grandparents, but they were on the following page! (and mistranscribed in the index - but that's another story!) nell

Here's a tip for you. When you're viewing census page images on Ancestry.com if your family is the first or last on a page, always check to make sure they don't spill over onto the previous/next page. (you can click on the page arrows to move the page along one) It's happened to me today for the first time. I noticed that there were no end of entry lines in the first column so I checked the next page and there were two more members listed :) Sioux
