If you go on GENUKI they have a wonderful site for Gloucester including the early census ie pre 1901 for free. |

I googled and found (among other sites) http://members*.iinet*.net*.au/~davwat/royalfor/ it's a genealogy site and has surnames and towns and parishes in the Forest of Dean. Hope it helps. nell |
