Thanks. I would appreciate any help! I am looking for a Harry Beeley born 12.06.1896. I have looked from 1890 to 1900 but can't find a Harry (or William) Beeley. I believe he married a Nelly Ellison in 1926. I can find a William Beeley getting married in the 3rd quarter, but no Ellisons?? Thanks for offering to help. (Oh, and I have no idea where either event took place!!!)

I had this problem as well. I then decided to look in the year after and lo and behold there is was. I have noticed on a couple of old birth certs I have, if the person has been born at the end of the year, It hasn't been registered till the next year. I have some credits left. If you give me details I will have a look. I am stuck now till Scotlandspeople is up and running again. Ann

Andrea Who and when? Perhaps someone else can find it. Sometimes people were left off the GRO register, but they can sometimes be found at the local register office, could be worth asking if you have an idea where the event happened. Could the surname be misrecorded? nell

Hi everyone. I am trying to find someone but their they are not showing up on the 1837, even though I have a definite date of birth for him. Have tried a couple of quarters either side, but still no joy. Any clues??
