Just found this - haven't had time to look at a lot, but it looks like a goldmine! Loads of online indexes http://members(.)aol.com/wryorks/indxmain(.)htm (remove brackets) Anne |

Anne I think your thread is missing something? You need to put the extra punctuation mark (e.g. brackets or asterisk) at the c o m or c o stage with that dot, otherwise GR suppresses great chunks of your text. (Like it did with my first version without the spaces) Christine |

tried a few times to change it but too tired to think straight anymore - this is SO ANNOYING! Do they do this on purpose?! |

Hi Yes it is very irritating. Apparently there are historical reasons but they've never bothered to change it. .org http://www.ukbmd.org.uk/ .gov http://cityark.medway.gov.uk .net and so on aren't troubled. I usually put an asterisk - after spotting that someone else was doing it (you only need to put in one and so it's only one to be deleted). http://www.ukbdm.*co.uk/ http://www.cyndislist.*com/ It seems even more unnecessary when you know some of these addresses are in the GR resources pages!
