Wakefield FHS has a free fan 8 generation family tree on A4 size which I find ideal to keep track of where I'm going. Not much room but ok for what I need. I did purchase HUGE 2 x 6 generation and 2 x 8 generation family trees from the Leamington Family History Fair for £7 special price I think. If you want a bigger one than on the Wakefield site then you can either phone 01902 836284 or their web site is www genealogyprinters*com they have loads of different number of generations and styles with background or without.

I printed my Dads family line last week for his 90th birthday. It took 6 A4 pages. Only after I had spent hours sticking it together and overlapping it correctly, my youngest son said why didnt you put it on a CD and then print it at the library on their big printer. Doh!

Hi Andrea I purchased a Family Tree Wall Chart which covers 7 generations from FAMILY TREE MAGAZINE it cost £3 + p&p and you can order by phone with a credit card. Also I use the Ancestral Chart available on Ancestry.com for working on my tree. Hope this helps Chris

There are some firms who print on large paper an eleven generation tree. I can't remember their name because I bought mine at a family history fair - a good place for things of that type!! There are often adverts in various Family Tree magazines, or perhaps on the net. Anne

Can anyone tell me where I can buy a hard copy of a blank family tree where I can write my information on. I can go back 8 generations from one part of my family and on the computer it prints several pages or I cannot read the whole tree. I would be grateful if you have any web sites that I could go on. Thanks for all your help. Andrea
