Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 0 Send Message	i have been trying to trace john bennett for a while now with no luck until recently when i found him listed on the passenger manifest of the muaritiania sailing from liverpool to the usa in 1913 he is listed as married but there is no mrs bennett on the passenger list, his address before emigrating was in little hulton nr bolton in lancashire could any one tell me how i could trace his wife and any children should there have been any, kindest regards ray

	I have checked a 2004 road atlas and cannot find either place, however I know that Bolton is in lancashire. Perhaps a good place to start looking for the marriage would be in the years previous to 1913 on 1837online(dot)com. Also try posting on the records board for anyone local to Bolton who could check census records. I am fairly new to all this but have found most people quite helpful.
