I do beleive that Margaret Ellis re-married, although not 100% sure. Why would the children be 'in laws', as they are still Margaret's children. Don't really understand, do you? |

Julie, If Margaret's husband completed the census form then they would both be son and daughter in law (sometimes used in law instead of "step" on these old forms) - which is probably what happened (if it's them). Have you tried looking on Freebmd to see if you can find a marriage for Margaret Ellis and Edwin Palmer? Emma x |
